On the Tuesday, May 5, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Ethan met baby Phoebe for the first time after his failed attempts to locate Delilah.
What happened on General Hospital

Chase playfully spoke to Baby Phoebe, while Tracy tried to talk Brook Lynn off the edge. She was concerned that the police would come looking for her about the accident at some point. The police were closing in on a suspect, but Brook Lynn felt the weight of guilt. There was nothing tying her to the accident. That didn’t stop her from collapsing under pressure.
Tracy volunteered to help Brook Lynn expedite the adoption of Phoebe. However, she wanted Granny to slow down. She wanted to adopt the baby, but she wasn’t sure how on board Chase would be. This would serve as the perfect way to distract herself from drowning in guilt.
Thankfully for Brook Lynn, her husband was on the same page about adopting Phoebe. They were going to be forced to dig into Phoebe’s biological family to make extra efforts to find them. However, beyond that, they’d dig into their personal lives. Despite Chase’s demotion and the drama with Willow, it was BLQ who held the secret switch that would blow up any chance they had of adoption.
A risky accusation

Laura summoned Justine to her office to get an update about any potential leads on Jordan’s accident. However, Laura didn’t think that a warrant for the other driver was a wise decision. Curtis had confided in her before, but there wasn’t much evidence pointing to Isaiah.
The paint matched the same type of car as Isaiah’s, and his whereabouts were unaccounted for, but this felt like something that Curtis wanted. He needs it to be Isaiah because that would wrap up the story into a tiny little bow.
They both hated seeing Curtis and Jordan suffer, but Laura was concerned that Curtis wasn’t capable of being objective. Sure, Isaiah could be the driver in question. But Laura hoped it wasn’t Isaiah who was behind the accident.
Jordan’s new reality

Jordan was ready to finally get out of the hospital after being trapped in bed following the accident. Being out of the hospital room was everything that Jordan wanted, and since her recovery was going well, there was no reason to keep her there. She was still petrified about the potential of permanent disfigurement, so it was a glass-half-empty type of situation.
Jordan didn’t want anyone knowing that she was being discharged because if Stella got ahold of that information, she’d be bombarded with people. Instead, Jordan is eager to have space to process everything in her own time.
They finally got home, but Jordan was in just as much of a struggle there as she was in the hospital. Jordan blamed herself for drifting out of their lane, and she wished she knew who was at fault. Curtis opened his mouth too soon, and he told Jorsan that he might know who forced her into her current state of disfigurement.
Brotherly betrayal

Ric brought Elizabeth flowers at work, but she told him not to bring any more. He asked her to go away with him, and he didn’t think she would say yes, but to his shock, she was eager to do it. Elizabeth was finally all in on some romance with Ric, even though she previously kept some walls up. He’d hurt her so many times in the past (panic room, anyone?), but she was ready to let it go.
Ethan was at the pier, concerned that no one was answering his messages or calls. It quickly became apparent that Ethan was referring to Delilah, the woman who died during the birth of Phoebe. The missing link the PCPD had been desperately searching for was standing on the pier as Ethan.
Ethan filled Sonny in on Ric’s private meeting with Ava. He wasn’t entirely sure what that was about or what sort of message that Ava relayed to Sidwell on Ric’s behalf. Sonny knew that Ethan didn’t like Ric, so he wasn’t deeply inclined to believe his take on the situation. Whatever Ethan was hiding wouldn’t stay hidden for long, because both Sonny and Ric are determined to figure out his true motivations.
Ric and Ava were hiding something, and Ethan wanted Sonny to give him the next course of action. For now, Ethan needed to hang tight and keep still. Sonny needed to mull over the potential betrayal that was looming from his brother. To test Ric’s loyalty, Sonny called his brother and demanded to see him. It was now or never for Ric to prove himself as a loyal ally to Sonny.
Ric did as he was told and showed up to meet Sonny on the pier. Sidwell had a deathgrip on Sonny’s old piers, but Ric was certain that his brother would eventually come out on top. Ric still didn’t trust Ethan, so Sonny demanded to know that it wouldn’t become a problem for his business.
Sonny specifically questioned Ric about where he was when he left his office, and to his brother’s detriment, Ric lied. He made up a story about the DA’s office, and Sonny was going to get definitive proof that it was a lie. Later, Sonny met with Justine and asked her if Ric had met with anyone in her office previously. She called and confirmed that Ric lied directly to his face.
Ethan gets his answer

Tracy called Ethan over to the Q mansion to discuss his newfound position in Sonny’s organization. She was adamant that he walk away. There was no love lost between Tracy and Port Charles most prolific mob boss, so no doubt that she’d want Luke’s son nowhere near that lifestyle.
Tracy scoffed at the idea of Ethan comparing himself to Sonny. After losing so many of her family members, like AJ and others, to Sonny or his business, she didn’t want her former stepson to suffer the same fate. Ethan assured Tracy that he could handle himself. Tracy’s spider senses started tingling, leading Ethan to confess that he had originally returned to town to meet someone.
Delilah never showed for the meeting, and Ethan’s been waiting to hear from her ever since. Tracy wanted Ethan to at least consider an offer to work for Michael in Australia. It didn’t look like they wanted to leave this current life behind.
Ethan met baby Phoebe, and he asked how they ended up with the baby. Brook Lynn revealed that the baby’s mother had passed away, and he felt awful about the circumstances surrounding the baby. However, Brook Lynn rocked Ethan’s world and revealed that the baby belonged to the very Delilah he had been feverishly searching for.
