Evil Dead Burn, which is the sixth film of the Evil Dead franchise, is going to be released soon in theatres. The film will follow how the life of a widow unravels when a visit to her in-laws’ turns into a nightmare as members of her family turn into deadites.
The Evil Dead Burn trailer has been revealed, and it not only gives us a look at the upcoming film but also confirms that the film will be released in theatres on July 10, 2026.

As the Evil Dead Burn trailer shows, one day, William’s mother was working in the kitchen, passing another grieving day without her son, when Thya walks in as a deadite, pulls out the broken part of a car seat’s rod from her face, and says,
“We found you.”
With an extremely creepy voice, it becomes evident that whoever said that line isn’t Thya. The trailer then takes us back to William’s funeral service, where his crying mother says she would give anything for them to be together again. While we don’t know if that wish was somehow turned into a curse, the deadites have a similar goal.
The trailer doesn’t tell us too much about how the family members become deadites or why, but one can tell that they, too, wish to reunite the family, irrespective of whether the family members are alive or dead.
Alice has to now figure out how to not only protect herself against the monstrous versions of her family members, but also somehow stop them all. Through Joseph, we find out that his grandfather believed that the devil would return if someone read from the book of the dead, and so far, it seems like someone did, unleashing hell onto the family.
From fighting the deadites with a circular chainsaw to surviving fighting them in water and fire, Alice has to do it all to survive.
Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub as Alice, Tandi Wright as Susan, Hunter Doohan as Joseph, Luciane Buchanan as Thya, Erroll Shand as Edgar, Maude Davey as Polly, George Pullar as William, Greta Van Den Brink as Jessica, Victory Ndukwe, Keanu Karim as Jared, and Tapiwa Soropa as Mike.
The film is directed and co-written by Sébastien Vaniček. Florent Bernard is also a co-writer. Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi have produced the film. The production companies behind the show are New Line Cinema, Screen Gems, and Ghost House Pictures.
Evil Dead Burn will be released in theatres on July 10, 2026.
