The Bold and the Beautiful character Electra recently came to learn that her aunt, or is it her mother, Ivy, was behind keeping her and Will apart. So why is Electra still giving Dylan the cold shoulder?
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Electra needs a shock of reality
Dylan must be feeling that you just can’t be nice to some people. Sure, it’s probably her job to deliver packages to personnel at Forrester Creations, but she would have been better off having an intern deliver that jewelry package to Electra. She entered the office where Electra was working, bearing the package and carrying a white flag, hoping to make peace with her former pal.
Electra said that she still couldn’t believe that Dylan worked there. Really? Dylan needs this job or else she’d be homeless, and you forgot that she worked there? The person Electra should know no longer works there is her aunt Ivy, who appears to have taken a leave now that her role in hiding her letter to Will has come out.
Electra should stop blaming Dylan and Will for her woes. Dylan had dinner with Will and she danced for him. Sure, those indicidents were painting in a bad light by Ivy. Electra should be keeping that in mind in her interactions with Dylan.
Dylan’s not the enemy, Ivy was
Electra, frankly should be blaming Ivy. And after, Ivy, she should be blaming herself. Electra got all worked up in her mind that Will wanted nothing to do with her because he never responded to her hand written note.
We applaud Electra for going old-school with the letter, but aren’t all the young people today into texting? She could have shot Will a text, “Hey, just making sure u got my note, k?” That might have kept Ivy from playing the show’s biggest meddler since Stephanie Forrester.
Dylan has let RJ know that someone from his background would never have to know what it was like to worry about being homeless, to live paycheck-to-paycheck. This message needs to be driven home to Electra, too. Maybe she knows on paper what Dylan’s position was, but can she truly appreciate it?
Dylan has been extremely nice to Ivy, and this isn’t about her hanging onto her job either. Sure, she wants to keep it, but she’d also like to resume her friendship with Electra. Maybe Electra can meet her ex-pal halfway and realize that dinner and a little dancing wasn’t Dylan trying to control her life
Dylan needs Electra more than ever
We did see Ivy get emotional and almost tear up when Dylan made her impassioned plea. Could it be that she’s starting to realize she misdirected her energies when she was so furious at Dylan and, for that matter, Will?
Dylan has that mysterious stalker calling her and she’s going to help. She needs a friend. Perhaps Electra could be that friend and the two women can once again become pals?
