Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless episode on Friday, May 1, 2026, as Victor forces Nick to come clean, Victoria prepares her defense against Phyllis, and Sharon questions Sienna’s loyalty.
What’s next on The Young and the Restless

Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been very good about fooling his loved ones into not knowing he has a pain pill problem. Sure, they know now, but for months, Nick acted like nothing was wrong. If he had a bad day, he’d make sure to get high on the dolls the next day so that he could convince everyone that he was fine.
Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) may (or may not) be gone, but Nick is not out of the woods yet. He took some bad pills, and he needs medical help. On Friday’s show, watch for Victor (Eric Braeden) to force Nick to come clean.
People can fool a lot of people in their lives, but it’s very difficult to pull the wool over the eyes of a parent. Moms and dads know their children better and longer than most anyone else in their lives, we’d venture to guess.
Will Nick come clean and admit he has a problem and that he needs help once Victor demands that Nick admit he has a problem?
A strong offense

On Friday’s show, watch for Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to prepare her defense against Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). The attack on Summers Conglomorate is multi-fold. Victor is going to do what he can on his end to get his company back.
Meanwhile, Victoria is going to go after Phyllis. The two have sparred more than ever in this storyline, and Vicki is determined to prove to everyone that she’s her father’s daughter.
Vicki has backed Victor more than anyone else in the family has during this crisis. If there’s anyone who is going to bring Phyllis down, it’s going to be Victoria!
Mother’s instinct

Sharon (Sharon Case) is not only a very intuitive person, but she’s also a trained therapist. Additionally, she runs a coffee shop, Crimson Lights, and she interacts with the public daily. In other words, Sharon is good with people. She has solid instincts.
On Friday’s show, watch for those instincts to kick in when Sharon questions Sienna’s (Tamara Braun) loyalty. Might Sienna be lying about Matt Clark being dead and/or her having killed him? She could have reasons for wanting to help him get away. Matt could have promised to stay away from the Newmans but why should Sienna believe him? Still, she may have wanted to have thought he was telling the truth. Sharon will want to get to the bottom of things in case Matt is out there, waiting to plan another attack.
