One would think that The Bold and the Beautiful’s Donna would be more miffed than big sister Brooke over Eric’s designs being used by Logan. After all, Eric is Donna’s husband, so she has a bigger stake in this than Brooke does. However, this is not the case at all.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke goes off

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) spent yet another episode extolling the horrors of baby sister Katie (Heather Tom). What an awful person Katie now is. A thief! That’s all she was to Brooke now. She stole Brooke’s name and that is not to be tolerated. She never thought her sister could ever be such an ingrate, but now she knew the truth. Katie was persona non grata to Brooke.
However, middle sister Donna (Jennifer Gareis) didn’t see it that way. Sure, she felt bad for Eric, but it’s not like anyone forced Eric (John McCook) to seek out Katie and Bill (Don Diamont) to design. He did it on his own and was paid for his work, like anyone else. Legally, Katie and Bill did not steal anything from anyone.
Brooke understood the legal aspect, but she was talking about the moral one. In Brooke’s mind, her sister was wholly amoral now, and Donna had better get on board with that idea. Donna must have felt like a lone wolf as everyone piled on Katie and didn’t want to hear what she had to say. She must have felt like Katie…or Hope (Annika Noelle).
Jumping ship

The Forresters remain the Lack of Self-Awareness Champions of Soaps, so they are about to be shocked when someone else jumps ship. First, it was Eric, who Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke prematurely forced to retire. Then, it was Katie because they basically hired someone to do her job without consulting her. And now it is about to be Hope because Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is once again giving her the short shrift.
Perhaps the Forresters will one day see that they are the common denominator here and not Bill and Katie. They are the ones who keep alienating people and all Bill and Katie are doing is making good business decsions, due to Forrester Creations’ poor business decisions. As Steffy always says, it’s work and it’s not personal.
