The UK’s biggest summer pop event is gearing up for another blockbuster year. Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard will return to Wembley Stadium on June 6, 2026, bringing 80,000 fans together for a day of chart-topping hits, high-energy performances and headline-making moments.
The first wave of artists has officially been confirmed, with RAYE leading the lineup. The announcement was made live on Capital Breakfast by Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby, who also revealed that additional acts will be announced soon.
RAYE takes center stage
RAYE arrives at the Ball as one of the most defining British artists of the moment. The seven-time BRIT Award winner has reshaped her career on her own terms, turning critical acclaim into commercial dominance. Her breakthrough album produced global hits including Escapism. and WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!, tracks that have become staples across streaming platforms and radio.
Her return to Wembley signals more than a performance slot. It reflects her rise from behind-the-scenes songwriter to stadium headliner. With her blend of sharp lyricism and powerful vocals, she is expected to deliver one of the day’s standout sets.
Niall Horan and a Wembley milestone
Niall Horan joins the bill ahead of the release of his fourth solo album, Dinner Party, due in June. The former One Direction member continues to build a steady solo career, powered by hits such as Slow Hands and Nice To Meet Ya. His recent collaboration with Myles Smith adds fresh momentum as he steps into another major Wembley moment.
Horan’s inclusion reinforces the Ball’s ability to blend established global names with artists entering new creative chapters.
Dance energy and pop icons
Fatboy Slim will make his Summertime Ball debut, bringing decades of festival anthems to the stadium stage. Known for crowd favorites like Praise You and Right Here, Right Now, the dance legend’s set is expected to inject high-voltage energy into the lineup.
Robyn is also set to perform at the Ball for the first time. The pop icon recently released her album Sexistential and remains beloved for classics including Dancing On My Own. Her presence adds depth and cross-generational appeal to the event.
US hitmaker Bebe Rexha joins the roster with global smashes such as I’m Good (Blue) and Meant to Be, strengthening the international edge of the show.
Rising stars step into the spotlight
Emerging talent will also take on the Wembley crowd. Sekou, named this year’s Capital Buzz Artist and the youngest-ever BRITs Rising Star winner, will perform for his largest audience yet.
Newly formed Netflix boy band December 10 rounds out the first announcement. Following the success of Run My Way and Angel, the group will step onto the biggest stage of their career so far.
Tickets go on general sale at 9 a.m. on April 30 via Global Player, with Capital listeners gaining exclusive pre-sale access a day earlier. Barclaycard customers will also receive a discount during the pre-sale window.
More major names are expected to be revealed soon, setting the stage for one of 2026’s most anticipated live music events.
