It’s a big day for Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) as both go through harrowing ordeals. Chanel undergoes her mammogram without support from Johnny, while Johnny gets a big surprise from an unexpected source.
The last thing Johnny expected when he saw Sophia (Rachel Boyd) at his front door was for the teen to spray aerosol in his eyes to blind him and then tie him to a chair. But that is exactly what Sophia does. She is determined to make Johnny pay for ruining her life, even if she has to kill him.
Despite Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) giving Sophia a gun, she only seems to use a red Solo cup to cause a fire and then leaves. Chanel appears to walk in on the scene after her mammogram and unties her husband, leaving him unscathed.
As for Sophia, she ends up back in her bedroom in tears and begins to write a note. Does she plan to hightail it out of town as quickly as possible before even Kristen finds her? Or does she plan to do so much worse?
Catching up with Marlena and Kayla
Marlena (Deidre Hall) has been just taking things in stride while the DiMeras keep dropping bombs. She now knows that she was named in Stefano’s (the late Joseph Mascolo) will, while his daughter has been keeping her away from Rachel (Lorelei Mote). When Brady (Eric Martsolf) gives Marlena good news, does he tell her that he managed to overrule Kristen at Bayview and Marlena can see her granddaughter again?
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has to be there for her own daughter when Stephanie (Abigail Klein) confides the news of the last day. It turns out that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) gave birth to Alex’s daughter while she was away and now she is back in town. The worst part is, Jeremy (Michael Roark) was the one who made it happen.
Stephanie can’t believe what a hot mess her life has become, and Kayla doesn’t even know about the loaded gun in her daughter’s purse. Stephanie would surely get a lecture about that…
