Internet divided after Katy Perry rooted for Ariana Grande’s upcoming album

An X user said Katy Perry’s support was an attempt to gain attention.

However, many netizens praised Perry’s gesture towards her younger fellow. One X user commented,

“Basically a superstar saying she’ll be a fan like everyone else.”

Another one highlighted Katy Perry’s successful era.

An internet user pointed out that Perry supported despite Grande mocking her space trip on SNL.

“Even after Ariana Grande openly mocked her on SNL, she’s STILL very supportive… Katy Perry has a pure heart of gold! She’s a much better person than I am… because she’s always showing love and support for other artists, despite never getting that same expression in return.”

“Something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.”

The album will drop at a time when the Grammy-winner will be on her Eternal Sunshine tour.
