The Bold and the Beautiful’s Forresters really have no idea that they are the problem. From Brooke and Ridge to Steffy, Electra, and RJ, they live in a world of their own, believing they never do anything wrong and everyone should bow to them and be grateful for their crumbs. Heck, one of them was perfectly fine with a homeless girl being shoved out onto the street so it wouldn’t ruin her romance. Because of this astounding lack of self-awareness, they are likely in for another shock one day soon.
That horrible, ungrateful Katie

Wasn’t it fun to listen to them all stand around Eric’s (John McCook) office, taking turns extolling the horrors of Katie (Heather Tom), that ungrateful wench who went and started her own fashion house after they treated her like dirt under their fingers? How could Katie not be thankful that they tried to replace her with an outside PR firm last summer without telling her? The nerve!
And then, she went and STOLE Eric’s designs, despite Eric (John McCook) running to Katie and explicitly begging her to let him design for her. Even Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie were hesitant at first, but Eric insisted he wanted to make Logan a success and he and Katie were in it together. Until they were not.
And Katie? She was sick of feeling like she didn’t exist at a company she gave everything to, so when the opportunity came to do something for herself and create something new, she did.
Logan hope for Hope’s future?

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and her uncanny lack of self-awareness can’t imagine why her own daughter would feel the same way, so we can see her being in for quite a shock when Hope (Annika Noelle) goes the way of Katie. And we know it is going to happen soon.
Hope tried to tell her mother that she understood where Katie was coming from. Her line has been shelved, closed, or pushed to the side more times than she can count and now it was happening again. When Hope finally decides to bite the bullet and join the team at Logan, will the Forresters wake up to the fact that if you neglect something or someone, you often lose that thing or that person?
In all likelihood, they won’t. After all, they are Forresters, Eric is a saint, and everything and anything revolves around them. At least in the bold and beautiful little world.
