Pete Hegseth’s wife, Jennifer Rauchet, went viral after an X account, @ellad3vi, posted that she wore a Temu dress to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. For those unaware, Pete Hegseth is the US Secretary of Defense. His wife, Jennifer Rauchet, donned an off-shoulder embellished evening party dress for WHCD on April 25.
In her post, @ellad3vi wrote:
“pete hegeseth’s wife wore a dress from temu to the white house correspondents dinner (i’m not joking)”
Laura Loomer commented on her post and showed support for Pete Hegseth’s partner. Laura wrote:
“She looks great! Who cares where it’s from?”
Laura Loomer shared another post in support of Jennifer. She slammed critics of her Temu dress. Laura Loomer said Jennifer Hegseth looked amazing and pretty. She went on to add that Pete Hegseth is a lucky man to have Jennifer. The political commentator wrote:
“She looks amazing. I thought the left was about “eating the rich”? Now you want to dunk on someone who didn’t waste $10,000 on a dress they will only ever wear once?@JennyHegseth looks amazing. She’s rocking that dress and she is very pretty. @PeteHegseth is a lucky man.”
She defended her, saying that they would rather invest their money in seven kids than in designer clothes.
“I’m sure he knows his wife is hot though. I mean, they have 7 kids so they invest their money into their kids, not designer clothes that don’t mean anything.”
Several others showed support for Pete Hegseth’s wife
Besides Laura Loomer, another political commentator, Jay Bee, called out those targeting Pete’s wife for wearing a Temu dress to WHCD. Jay Bee wrote:
“So folks are melting down over Pete Hegseth’s wife’s dress she wore to the WHCD event.”
He went on to add that if it were an expensive dress, critics would have praised it. Lastly, he said Jennifer Rauchet looked great in her Temu dress.
“Apparently it’s from Temu. If it were expensive, you’d call her privileged or something. But because it’s supposedly from Temu you call her poor and cheap. Never happy. Who cares. She looks great.”
Author Jim Hanson also showed support for Jennifer. Jim wrote:
“Nasty hag tries (and fails) to smear Jen Hegseth wife of @SecWar for looking lovely in a non-designer dress. Sad. The real story was how Pete leapt up to protect her as he steel-eyed the room for threats. Warrior!”
The viral post by @ellad3vi garnered over 8.8 million views on X.
