The Way Home Season 4 will arrive next Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 9 P.M ET on the Hallmark Channel and it’s also very clear that what we need now is some answers, especially after all that we saw in Episode 2.
All we can hope for now is that Episode 3 will be filled with some answers, and also packed with some much-needed new drama.
Previously, on this week’s episode (i.e., on Episode 2) we saw that Kat and Alice went into two completely different timelines. Both of these visits dropped major clues about Tessa and her disappearance.
Kat’s trip to the 1920s brought in some new faces with a few… suspicious connections, while Alice’s visit to the 1970s also ended up with a huge reveal.
The Way Home Season 4 Episode 3 is ready to push these mysteries further, or at least that is what we’re hoping for the episode to do.

The final season of the Hallmark show is finally here and we’re already on our way to watching Episode 3. The Way Home Season 4 Episode 3 will be dropped on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.

This final season of the Hallmark show started on April 19 2026 and it’s sad to say but we’re already feeling emotional because this will be the final season of the beloved series.
Looking at the series itself, it is about the three generations of the Landry women. Kat, Alice, and Del are still dealing with years of pain caused by long-standing family wounds.
Then, there’s also the strange pond that has opened the door to the past, and now every trip seems to reveal another secret one after another, secrets that nobody saw coming.
A small recap of Episode 2 and what could be ahead for Episode 3
The Way Home Season 4 Episode 2 was told in two different timelines, and both of these stories were important. First we see Kat who landed in the 1920s while she was trying to learn more about Tessa and get some more clues.
Instead of getting clues about Tessa, she met Fern Landry, who soon became an important part of Kat’s journey. Now, Fern worked at a newspaper and was engaged to Grayson Goodwin, who looked polished on the outside but was clearly involved in shady business deals with the Augustine brothers.
Things got a lot more complicated when Fern crossed paths with Clifton and there were sparks flying the very next minute. Kat also shocked Fern by bringing up Tessa Cooper.
Meanwhile, we saw Alice traveling to the 1970s and spent time with Evelyn Goodwin and Colton. There, she learned Evelyn was pregnant and about how she was struggling with major choices. Colton also pushed Alice to create music that actually reflected her real feelings.
Episode 3 will now move forward from here. We know that Alice will search for more clues, and with that, just like Alice, we’re also hoping to get some more answers in the next episode, especially about Tessa.
