The plot thickens as it turns out that Megan Thee Stallion isn’t the first to call out Klay Thompson for being unfaithful.
The NBA star dated Hannah Stocking, a prominent comedienne-actress and content creator, around October 2014. The former couple was often spotted together in public and high-profile events, such as the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards.
However, things between the two turned sour in 2015. At the time, the actress took to her Twitter (hereinafter X), accusing Klay Thompson, who was the Golden State Warriors’ guard, of cheating and catching him red-handed with not one but a group of women.
“When you catch ur man naked in bed with a groupie…. lol @KlayThompson.”
The tweet was reportedly quickly deleted, but not without a follow-up by Hannah Stocking.
“I told him I’d @ him if he didn’t stop harassing me… So I guess he really wanted that tag to get his number up.”
Besides Hannah Stocking and Megan Thee Stallion, another woman has allegedly been cheated on by Klay Thompson.
In a report by the New York Times in 2020, a woman posted a cryptic TikTok video in which she said she spent time with Klay Thompson with a friend. During this time, the NBA star was dating actress Laura Harrier.
The woman said in the now-forgotten clip:
“Put a finger down if you moved from Georgia to California and within the first month of living in California, your friend is going to go on a date, but instead of going on a date, the guy asks if she’s cool with going on a group thing, and asked if she had any girls that she could bring because there’s going to be a bunch of boys there.”
Thompson and Harrier dated from 2018 to 2019, with their romance being tagged as one of his most “stable” relationships. The actress then started dating Sam Jarou in the same year and got engaged in 2022. They, however, called it quits in April 2025.

Klay Thompson, on the other hand, began dating Megan Thee Stallion in 2025, with the rapper describing their first meeting as “meet-cute” and straight out of a “fairy tale.”
The couple was spotted together multiple times in the course of their relationship. At one point, Megan prepared a full Southern-style Thanksgiving dinner for the athlete and his family in November 2025.
However, in April 2026, the Savage hitmaker took to Instagram to announce that she and Klay Thompson had broken up, alleging that the now-Mavericks guard had cheated on her. She wrote:
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? b**** I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall.”
Megan Thee Stallion’s representative also issued a statement via TMZ, confirming the split.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Klay Thompson has yet to address the breakup.
