The Days of our Lives spoilers sneak peek video for April 27-May 1, 2026, teases an explosive week in Salem as Joy’s return gives Alex the shock of his life and one dastardly DiMera sets chaos into motion.
Surprise, Daddy

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) certainly doesn’t expect to open his front door to find Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) standing there. He doesn’t see who is with her at first, until she points to a stroller, wheels it into the living room, and tells him that this is his daugther, Kelsey. As far as Alex knew, Joy’s pregnancy test was negative and it was all just a false alarm. Now, she is right there with a little girl who she says is his.
Alex has been wanting a baby, but had promised Stephanie (Abigail Klein) that he would wait until she is ready. He would even accept it if she said she would never be ready. But now Joy is telling Alex he is a father, which is something he is going to have to get used to.
Shoot to kill?

While Alex catches up with Joy and gets to know his daughter, Stephanie is at the shooting range with Steve (Stephen Nichols), learning how to use a gun. What Steve doesn’t know is that his lesson in gun safety went in one ear and out the other. Stephanie loaded the gun and put it in her purse, rather than in the gun safe unloaded.
Later, Stephanie finds herself confiding in Jeremy (Michael Roark) again while they sit on a park bench. Jeremy also gets the wrong idea and tries to kiss Stephanie. She is taken aback and horrified. She also has a gun in her purse, is a mess emotionally, and anything can happen.
Chaos, chaos everywhere

For some reason, Javi (Al Calderon) passes out right in the middle of the hospital, which is as good a place as any to pass out. But that seems to be nothing compared to what Sophia is up to.
A frantic Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) calls Brady (Eric Martsolf) over when she finds what appears to be a suicide note from Sophia (Rachel Boyd). She claims that she just wanted to be forgiven, but since Holly (Ashley Puzemis) said she was dead to her, she’d make Holly’s dreams come true. Whether Sophia is serious or not, nobody knows. However, she is still going ahead with Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) plan.
While an unsuspecting Johnny (Carson Boatman) is working from home alone, he opens the door to find Sophia standing there. She quickly sprays something in Johnny’s face to blind him and is ready to get to work. What do she and Kristen really have cooked up? Does Sophia really plan to end her own life after she has enacted her revenge?
