General Hospital’s Willow Tait is clearly a chameleon who knows how to shed skin and grow a new layer for any circumstance. We have seen the school marm, the sweet nurse, the cancer martyr, the congressman’s pride, and now we have the corrupt congresswoman.
Congresswoman Cutthroat II comes with eyeliner

If Drew (Cameron Mathison) was known as Congressman Cutthroat, what will the media call Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? For now, we know she puts on the perona of a woman who will help childless couples become foster parents while lowering prescription drug prices. (This is clearly a fantasy Washington, DC and not the real one.) But when has Willow even been to Washington to do any of this legislating she’s learned in about a month?
When Willow invited Jack (Chris McKenna) into her office to make threats and promises all in one meeting, she surprised him. Jack never realizes Willow was so ruthless and neither has anyone else, for that matter. Nina thinks she walks on water while Sidwell (Carlo Rota) thinks she is too nice.
Watching Willow take control of her own sticky situation by threatening to defund the WSB was wild. We also want to know why the U.S. government is funding an international spy agency. Don’t we have better things to spend taxpayer money on?
What was the point of the needle?

We do have to wonder why Willow didn’t just threaten Jack as soon as Nina told her she had a problem. She claims that she got Nina’s prints on that syringe so she wouldn’t have a choice but to pump Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) for information about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). But if she was able to take care of the situation on her own, now what? Will she still blackmail her own mother?
Willow doesn’t even know that Valentin is helping Nina out all on his own. So, is Nina now going to feed Jack false info, thinking she has no choice? Or will Willow tell Nina what she did? We doubt it because it looks like Willow likes having leverage. However, even corrupt politicians eventually get their comeuppance (even if it takes 10 years), so Willow had better watch her step so her Dawn of Day house of cards doesn’t come tumbling down.
