It means Haaland has now scored five goals in his last four games and is comfortably the top scorer in the Premier League with 13 strikes.

There were eyebrows raised when Haaland was hooked by Pep Guardiola in the 82nd minute against Bournemouth, despite being on a hat-trick.

But the 25-year-old shrugged off that disappointment by carrying out one of his religious post-match routines.

He stripped off outside while holding his man of the match award from Sunday’s win in a video shared with his 38.7m Instagram followers.

He is also known to use red light therapy at his home to give him extra vitamin D and prevent injuries.

Haaland also has other interesting quirks to help keep his body in top condition, such as drinking raw cow’s milk and sleeping with his mouth taped shut.

He credits the strange habits for his incredible career that has seen him score nearly 300 goals, though Guardiola kept him in check this weekend.

Haaland is yet to score a hat-trick in the Premier League this season and was gunning for his first against the Cherries.

But his manager subbed him off for Omar Marmoush in the final ten minutes.

He aimed a cheeky dig at the Spaniard when asked why he was substituted on a hat-trick.

Haaland jokingly replied: “Of course so you need to ask Pep for this. I think there were probably a few fantasy managers that were not so happy when I got subbed off.”

He added: “[It was an] important win. It is good to bounce back after losing a bad away game. It was nice.

“I tried to contribute for the team by doing my job. It is good to win. Now two more important games to come, so keep focusing.
