Rooster Episode 7: A quick recap

Episode 7 begins on an awkward note as Greg realises that Cristle, the woman he was hooking up with, was Tommy’s mother. When Tommy finds Greg near the fridge in Cristle’s home, he is left shocked. Tommy is undeniably one of Greg’s first friends at Ludlow.

In fact, Tommy helped Greg to open up to the students. Greg helped him by giving him accommodation when he was thrown out by his roommates for not paying rent on time. Greg and Tommy decide not to talk about this. However, Tommy was lagging in his scores, and Greg wanted to help him out.

Later, Cristle reveals that Tommy’s father left her for a high school maths teacher. Greg felt guilty, and they decided to break off. Dylan was heartbroken when she learnt that the Dean’s position was now occupied. She desperately wanted to be the Dean. Greg motivated her to speak for herself and to explain how there were very few women in that position at Ludlow.

However, Walt wasn’t happy with Greg motivating Dylan to aim for the Dean’s position. Walt wanted her to settle for the head of the English Department. Nonetheless, he was also disappointed when Greg turned down his hot tub invitation.

Sunny’s father visits his daughter. To Mo’s surprise, he develops a liking for Archie. However, he taunts him when he finds out that Archie wants to accompany Sunny for the OB appointment. When they have a look at the baby’s scan, their hearts soften, especially Archie’s. The next day, he forgets to bring Katie’s usual breakfast as he promised he would until she takes him back.

This leaves Katie extremely disappointed. Will Archie choose Sunny over Katie? To find out more, watch Rooster every Sunday on HBO Max at 10 p.m. ET.
