A quick recap of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord Episodes 5-6

The latest episodes of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord saw the arrival of Marrok, a Jedi-hunting Inquisitor, who questioned Brander Lawson and Chief Kylce at the Janix headquarters about Maul’s whereabouts and Lawson’s suspicious escape from his hideout without his team. As the Imperial Star Destroyer dropships lowered an army of stormtroopers into the city, halting all off-world travel and guards patrolling every train station, Jedi master Eeko-Dio Daki and his padawan learner Devon Izara were left fending for themselves.

After Lawson returned to his home from Marrok’s harrowing questioning, he was surprised to discover that his son Rylee had hidden Daki and Devon in their house. This resulted in a brutal lightsaber battle between Marrok and Daki after the former forced entry into Lawson’s house. While the group managed to find protection at Sul’s casino, the place was infiltrated by troopers. Daki ordered Devon to protect Rylee while he distracted the stormtroopers with Lawson.

The final moments of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord Episode 6 saw a lightsaber battle between Maul and Marrok at the top of a train, until Devon outsmarted the former by separating the locomotive’s compartments. Marrok was seen reporting to a mysterious lord about Maul’s survival, setting up exciting upcoming episodes.
